31 Movies for the Month of October for the Sub-Genre Lovers

October is finally here, and we plan to start it off strong with a movie watchlist that will get you deep into the layers of the horror genre. All 31 movies listed on the watchlist will be free to watch, so you can save your money for Halloween treats and dvds. Grab a blanket, some popcorn and get ready to be taken on a horror journey this month. Each week is split by a sub-genre, so there will be five total sub-genres to explore through this month. We will be starting off strong with found footage, then into cult classics, followed by women in horror, vampires and monsters and finally ending off with some body horror. We created a pdf version that you can download and print, so feel free to share with your friends and family but prepared for them to judge you a bit if they end up making their way through this watchlist but at least it’ll build character. Happy October 1st!
